Population is India's curse...Oh really??!!!!

A thought that always flashes in my mind that could make our population a boon rather than a curse......If every individual of 1.15 billions in India could spend one rupee per month and if we could invest that money GENUINELY for our country's development...just imagine 115 crore rupees every month, nearly 1400 crore rupees every year....we could definitely make far better INDIA in the coming 20 years....May be it's just a drop in the ocean....but as the famous quote says "the ocean would be less without that drop"....
reminds me of the famous LEAD INDIA ad by TIMES GROUP (Tum chalo to Hindustan chale)....

the video is so gripping that we just tend to ignore the magical lyrics...
Falak pakad ke utho, aur hawa pakad ke chalo
Tum chalo, to hindustan chale
Lagao haath ke suraj subah nikala karein,
Hatheliyon bhare dhoop aur uchhala karein,
Ufaq pe paav rakho, aur chalo akad ke chalo,
Falak pakad ke utho, aur hawa pakad ke chalo,
Tum chalo, to hindustan chale

here is a literal translation of the lyrics....got it from one of the links....

Hold the sky to stand, and walk with the wind in your hands,
Be the front-runner; because when you walk, Hindustan (India) walks with you.
Lend your hand to pull out the Sun in the morning,
Fill your hands with sunlight, and throw it around,
Keep you legs on the horizon, and walk with pride,
Hold the sky to stand, and walk with the wind in your hands,
Be the front-runner; because when you walk, Hindustan (India) walks with you.

The code is simple yet carries a very important message -

"Stop Complaining and be the Change"....Let's be the change in one way or the other to embrace our motherland with glory.....
Happy Republic Day folks!!!

Most influential are the best remembered....

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the post straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America Contest.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. They are not second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2.. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier?

The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are NOT the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones who CARE....
They might not be influential in this world but they are the most influential people in our lives.....

Don't loose them for anything on this earth.....
